Authorities Searching for Missing Taylorsville Teen

ALEXANDER COUNTY, NC — The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenager.

Seventeen-year-old Caleb Andrew Preston of Taylorsville was last seen in the area of Highway 90 West. Authorities say he was driving a 2001 red Ford F-150 at the time of his disappearance.

Investigators have not released additional details, but are urging anyone who may have seen Preston or his vehicle, or who has any information on his whereabouts, to come forward.
