IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Sheriff Darren Campbell announced that the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, working in coordination with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, has made significant progress in a six-month investigation targeting the sale and distribution of crack cocaine across Iredell County.
The investigation centered on Larry Darnell Robinson, identified by detectives as a key figure in local narcotics trafficking. Over several months, investigators conducted surveillance operations, undercover work, and used advanced investigative techniques to build their case.
As the investigation developed, additional suspects were identified, including Harold Lee Jackson and Erica Nicole Ramsey, both believed to be connected to the drug operation.
On April 29, 2026, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team (SERT), narcotics detectives, and deputies executed a search warrant at a residence on Herbert Lane in Statesville tied to Jackson, who is currently awaiting trial in another jurisdiction on separate cocaine trafficking charges.
During the search, investigators seized approximately half an ounce of crack cocaine, 135 grams of marijuana, and $17,000 in cash believed to be connected to drug sales.
Authorities say the investigation remains active and ongoing, with additional arrests expected as detectives continue reviewing evidence and intelligence gathered throughout the case.
Sheriff Campbell is encouraging anyone with information about drug activity in the area to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously through the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office mobile app or by contacting the Sheriff’s Office directly.
