Taylorsville Man Arrested on Multiple Felony Fraud Charges in Alexander County

ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. — A Taylorsville man is facing multiple felony charges following an arrest earlier this week in Alexander County.

According to the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office, 43-year-old Jeremy Anthony Bumgarner of Gill Childers Road in Taylorsville was taken into custody on Thursday, June 4.

Bumgarner has been charged with ten counts of felony obtaining property by false pretense.

Following his arrest, he was transported to the Alexander County Detention Center, where he is being held under a $100,000 secured bond.

An initial court appearance is scheduled for Monday, June 8.

The investigation remains ongoing.
