Three Arrested Following Alexander County Warrant Service

Three people were arrested Tuesday evening following a warrant service in Alexander County, according to authorities.
Officials said the arrests were made on the evening of May 26 and involved multiple drug-related charges.
Fifty-eight-year-old Kenneth Alan Korte of Hiddenite was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Authorities said Korte is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for June 1.
Also arrested was 50-year-old Steven Douglas Brown of Taylorsville. Brown faces charges of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver a Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Resisting Arrest.
Authorities said Brown is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond. He is also scheduled to make his first court appearance on June 1.
Investigators also arrested 28-year-old Joseph B. Williams of Hiddenite. Williams was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Williams is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $100,000 bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for June 1.
