STATESVILLE, N.C. — Work continues to move forward on the next phases of the Municipal Operations Center project as city staff and project partners refine plans and prepare for future construction activities.
According to project officials, design efforts for Phases 3 and 4 remain ongoing, with teams focused on finalizing project details and establishing accurate construction pricing. While no major construction milestones have been reached since the previous update, significant progress is being made behind the scenes as the project advances through the design and planning process.
Project leaders say the current phase is critical to ensuring the long-term success of the Municipal Operations Center, allowing engineers, architects, and city staff to evaluate design options, identify operational needs, and develop cost estimates before construction begins.
Updated renderings and conceptual drawings continue to provide a glimpse into the future facility and the overall vision for the project. The planned improvements are expected to enhance operational efficiency, support future growth, and provide modernized facilities for municipal services.
City officials emphasized that while much of the work occurring now is not visible to the public, the ongoing design process represents an important step toward bringing the project to reality. Final project pricing and additional details are expected as planning efforts continue.
The Municipal Operations Center project remains a key long-term investment aimed at improving infrastructure, supporting city operations, and meeting the needs of a growing community.
