NCDOT Announces Overnight Ramp Closures at Exit 36

The North Carolina Department of Transportation is continuing road improvement work in Iredell County, with temporary overnight ramp closures planned at Exit 36.

Contract crews are working to widen NC 150 and will install storm drainage across the entrance ramp to Interstate 77 North.

To complete the work, the ramp from NC 150 to I-77 North will be closed just after midnight on both Friday and Saturday mornings. The ramp is expected to reopen by 5 a.m. each day.

Signed detours will be in place to guide drivers safely around the closure:

For NC 150 East approaching I-77 North:

• Turn right onto Williamson Road

• Turn left onto Brawley School Road

• Turn left onto I-77 North

• Turn left onto Talbert Road

• Turn right onto Brawley School Road

• Turn right onto I-77 North
