Salisbury Man Arrested in Davie County Drug Stop

On March 9, 2026, at approximately 11:40 p.m., deputies with the Davie County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on a white 2018 Nissan Maxima on US Highway 601 South near Holy Cross Road for a routine traffic violation.
The driver, identified as Brandon Stephon McIntosh, 34, of the 200 block of Green Gable Lane, Salisbury, NC, was contacted by deputies. During the stop, deputies detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. McIntosh admitted that someone had recently smoked marijuana inside and gave verbal consent for a search of the car.
During the search, deputies recovered:
A small clear ziplock bag containing crack cocaine on McIntosh’s person
A black digital scale
A gray knotted bag with a white powdery substance
An unknown blue tablet
Based on the evidence, McIntosh was arrested and charged with:
Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver (PWISD) Cocaine
Felony Possession of Cocaine
Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
McIntosh was transported to the Davie County Detention Center, where he is being held under a $10,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in Davie County District Court on April 2, 2026.
