Statesville Woman Arrested on Meth Charges in Alexander County

TAYLORSVILLE — A Statesville woman is facing drug-related charges following an arrest by the Alexander County Sheriff's Office.
According to a report from the Alexander Sheriffs office, deputies arrested 42-year-old Amanda Rae Collins of Statesville on Saturday. Collins was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Authorities said Collins was released from custody after posting a $7,500 secured bond. She is scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court in Taylorsville Monday.
