Catawba County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help Identifying Person of Interest

NEWTON, N.C. — The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual in connection with an ongoing investigation.

Investigators released an image of the person they are seeking to identify and say the individual may have information relevant to the case. No additional details about the investigation have been released at this time.

Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information that could assist investigators is asked to contact the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office at 828-464-5241 and reference Case #2026-00207.

Tips may also be submitted anonymously through the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office mobile app.

Authorities encourage the public to share the image to help generate leads.
