Deputies Seek Suspects in Salisbury Shoplifting Case

SALISBURY — The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying two women in connection with a reported shoplifting incident in Salisbury.


According to investigators, the incident occurred on January 30, 2026, at the Dollar General located at 5150 U.S. Highway 601. Authorities say the two women allegedly took merchandise from the store without paying.


The sheriff’s office has released information in hopes that someone may recognize the individuals and provide tips that could assist the investigation.


Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy Petersen at the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office at 704-216-8700. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Rowan County Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-5245.


Investigators say all information will be reviewed as the case continues.
