Hartness Road Closure Scheduled for July 1

Motorists in the area should plan for a temporary road closure on Wednesday, July 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., impacting a section of Hartness Road.

The closure will affect Hartness Road from just below the entrance to Iredell Memorial Hospital’s general parking area to the entrance of Brookdale Drive. During this time, Brookdale Drive will remain open; however, access between Hartness Road and Brookdale Drive will be restricted in both directions.

The closure is necessary to allow utility crews to complete essential work safely and efficiently.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes when possible, and exercise caution when traveling near the work zone.
