Hiddenite Woman Arrested on Identity Theft, Fraud Charges

A Hiddenite woman is facing a slew of charges following her arrest earlier this week on allegations of identity theft and financial fraud.
According to the Newton Police Department, 38-year-old Sarah Emily Robbins, of Red Mun Run Lane in Hiddenite, was taken into custody Monday, February 23. Robbins is charged with identity theft, financial card theft, financial card fraud, and obtaining property by false pretense.
Court records show the charges are filed under case number 26CR240366-170 in Newton District Court. Her specific charges and details include:

Authorities allege Robbins unlawfully used another person’s identifying and financial information for personal gain.
