Man Charged After Salisbury Sexual Assault Investigation

SALISBURY — A Salisbury man has been arrested and charged following a months-long investigation into a reported sexual assault involving a minor.
According to the Salisbury Police Department, the department’s Investigation Unit began looking into the case on October 13, 2025, after receiving a report of a possible sexual assault. Detectives later identified the suspect as Isaiha Wollan Scott.
On February 5, 2026, Scott was arrested and charged with two counts of statutory rape of a person 15 years of age or younger and one count of indecent liberties with a child.
Police say Scott was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center and is being held without bond.
The Salisbury Police Department credited assistance from the Rowan County Department of Social Services and The Terrie Hess House, thanking both agencies for their partnership during investigations of this nature.
Authorities have not released additional details due to the sensitive nature of the case.
