Man Charged in Loader Theft

On November 3, 2025, detectives with the Troutman Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit began investigating the theft of a Bobcat compact loader from a construction site located at 750 South Main Street.

After a thorough investigation, detectives identified Justin Wilson, 40, of Statesville, as the suspect. A warrant was obtained charging Wilson with larceny of a motor vehicle.

Wilson was arrested on February 9, 2026, by the Statesville Police Department. Following his arrest, he was ordered held under a $25,000 secured bond.
