Mount Holly Man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

John Wyane Brown, 33, of Mount Holly, North Carolina, was arrested on January 31, 2026, by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office on multiple drug- and public safety-related charges.

Brown was booked into the Iredell County Detention Facility at approximately 6:21 a.m. and remains in custody. Records show he is facing several charges, including possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell or deliver controlled substances, and selling or delivering drugs within 1,000 feet of a school and park. Additional charges include simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, and resisting or obstructing a public officer.

A $35,000 surety bond has been set for the possession of cocaine charge. Bond amounts for other charges have not yet been listed.
