Employees at Piedmont HealthCare recently raised nearly $3,000 for Yokefellow Ministries through a bowling fundraiser that brought together teams from across the organization.
Along with the financial contribution, employees also donated more than 2,500 pounds of food to help local families in need. Organizers said a raffle held during the event generated $1,500 of the total amount raised, adding to Yokefellow’s community outreach efforts.
Leadership and staff from Piedmont HealthCare joined representatives from Yokefellow Ministries to present the donation and recognize the impact of the effort.
“This was a great example of our team coming together to support the community in a meaningful way,” said Jeffrey Smith. “We’re proud to partner with organizations like Yokefellow Ministries that are making a difference locally.”
Yokefellow Ministries provides food assistance and other support services to individuals and families throughout the local community, and officials say donations like these help meet growing needs across the area.
