Rowan Deputies Search for Domestic Assault Suspect in Landis

The Rowan County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with a domestic assault investigation in southern Rowan County.

Investigators say arrest warrants were issued April 23 for 48-year-old Don Allen Parson Jr. following an incident at his home on South Kimmons Street in Landis.

Parson is facing multiple charges, including felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, kidnapping, assault by strangulation, and domestic violence.

Authorities say he is known to spend time in southern Rowan County and neighboring Cabarrus County, and they are urging residents to remain alert.
