Statesville Police Junior Ambassadors Recognized at MLK Community Event

STATESVILLE, N.C. — The Statesville Police Department was represented at the 31st Annual MLK Community Prayer Breakfast and Day of Service by members of its Junior Ambassador program, highlighting youth leadership and civic engagement in the community.


Junior Ambassador Tiffany Dubon delivered the opening remarks at the event, speaking before community leaders, city officials, and residents. In her address, Dubon reflected on the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., emphasizing the importance of service, unity, and justice within the community.


Those in attendance noted Dubon’s poise and thoughtful delivery, which underscored the values Dr. King championed and the continued relevance of his message today. Department officials said her remarks reflected maturity, compassion, and a strong commitment to positive civic involvement.


The Statesville Police Department praised its Junior Ambassadors for representing the department and demonstrating the impact young leaders can have in shaping the future of the community.


Officials also thanked the Martin Luther King Partnership Committee for hosting the annual event and for its ongoing efforts to uplift voices that inspire service, understanding, and positive change across the region.
