Taylorsville Man Held on Fayetteville Charges After Arrest in Alexander County

A Taylorsville man is being held in Alexander County after authorities served him with outstanding warrants from Fayetteville.

According to reports, 33-year-old Branden Kyle Packer of Old Landfill Road was detained Tuesday, April 7, by Alexander County authorities. The warrants were issued by the Fayetteville Police Department.

Packer is charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense in Cumberland County.

Following his arrest, Packer was placed in the Alexander County Jail, where he remains in custody awaiting transfer to Cumberland County to face the charges.
