Taylorsville Woman Arrested Following Vehicle Pursuit

TAYLORSVILLE, NC — A Taylorsville woman is in custody after allegedly leading police on a vehicle pursuit Wednesday evening, March 25.
According to the Taylorsville Police Department, 34-year-old Briana Danielle Roberts, of Willie McLeod Road, failed to stop for officers, prompting a pursuit. Authorities say the chase concluded without further incident, and Roberts was taken into custody safely.
Roberts faces multiple charges, including failure to heed blue light and siren, driving while license revoked, resisting arrest, and two counts of misdemeanor child abuse.
She was confined in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond. Roberts is scheduled to appear in court on April 20.
The Taylorsville Police Department reminds the public that vehicle pursuits are dangerous and that law enforcement will take all necessary measures to ensure public safety during such incidents.
