The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Taylorsville woman Saturday following a reported domestic incident involving a knife.


According to authorities, the victim sustained a cut to the neck during the altercation.


Investigators charged 38-year-old Kimiko Echante Nanney with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to inflict serious injury and crime of domestic violence.


Officials say Nanney was being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center pending her first court appearance.
