WAME Invites Community to Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary at July 3 Block Party

STATESVILLE — WAME Real Country 92.9 & 550 WAME is inviting the community to kick off Independence Day festivities with a special Block Party celebrating America's 250th anniversary on Thursday, July 3.

The event will take place from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. in the Signal Hill Mall parking lot and will serve as a gathering place for families, friends, and community members before the annual Statesville Fireworks Spectacular.

Attendees can enjoy food trucks, music, patriotic programming, and a family-friendly atmosphere as WAME helps commemorate 250 years of American freedom and independence.

Madison & Co. Realty is serving as the event sponsor and will be distributing American flags to attendees while supplies last.

Organizers encourage residents to bring lawn chairs, settle in for an evening of entertainment, and enjoy one of the area's most anticipated Independence Day celebrations.

The event will conclude with music and patriotic programming coordinated to accompany the Statesville Fireworks Spectacular, creating a memorable experience for attendees as the community celebrates the nation's birthday together.

WAME officials say the event is designed to bring the community together while honoring the history, freedoms, and values that have shaped the United States for 250 years.

The Block Party is free to attend and open to the public.
