Authorities Search for Missing 15-Year-Old in Catawba County

CONOVER, N.C. — The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl last seen early Friday morning.

Authorities say Chynia Zeaunia Parson, 15, was last seen on May 1, 2026, between 2:00 and 3:00 a.m. at a residence on Westmoreland Court SE in Conover.

Investigators have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, but stress that any information could be vital in locating her.
