Upon arrival, officers located a female victim who had sustained serious bodily injuries. Due to the severity of those injuries, emergency medical assistance was immediately requested.

During the investigation, officers observed a vehicle matching the suspect description traveling westbound on Main Street. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was detained and identified as Morrison.

Police say Morrison was taken into custody and charged with:

  • Misdemeanor crime of domestic violence

Morrison was transported to the magistrate’s office, where he was placed on a 48-hour hold without bond, as required by law in domestic violence cases.
