Ross brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience across inpatient and outpatient care, trauma, emergency services, and ambulatory surgery operations. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for improving clinical quality, strengthening nursing culture, and leading teams through periods of growth and transformation.

“I am excited to join Iredell Health because of the organization’s deep commitment to its community and its people,” Ross said. “Iredell has a strong reputation for teamwork, compassion, and patient-centered care, and I look forward to partnering with our nursing teams and interdisciplinary leaders to continue strengthening care for those we serve.”

“We are excited for the vision, energy, and depth of experience Angel brings to our organization and to the patients and families we serve,” said Iredell Health President and CEO John Green.

Ross joins Iredell Health from Advocate Health, where she served as Regional Administrative Director for the Wake County area, overseeing multi-site surgical teams and managing a portfolio of approximately 25,000 annual cases. She also previously served as Administrator of SouthPark Surgery for Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat Associates, where she led improvements in staffing stability, patient outcomes, and financial performance. Her background includes leadership roles with Novant Health and CaroMont Health.

She holds a Master of Business Administration from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UNC Charlotte, and is currently pursuing her doctorate.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ross is active in her community and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. Since relocating to the Mooresville area, she has embraced the region and looks forward to building strong relationships across Iredell Health System and the surrounding communities.
