Hickory, NC — A major night of racing is coming to Hickory Motor Speedway as the ARCA Menards Series East prepares for its first-ever appearance at the iconic short track.

Track Enterprises and the series have announced that Cook Out will serve as the title sponsor for the event, now officially named the Cook Out 200, set for Saturday, March 28.

The race marks a historic moment for the legendary venue, often referred to as the “Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars,” as it welcomes rising talent and top competitors from across the region. Officials say excitement is already building, with advance ticket sales moving quickly ahead of race day.

Fans can expect a full day of action-packed racing, including support divisions leading into the featured 200-lap ARCA Menards Series East race. A pre-race autograph session will also give fans the chance to meet drivers and up-and-coming stars.

Event Schedule – Saturday, March 28:

  • 4:45 PM – 4-Cylinder & Carolina Pro Late Model Features

  • 6:30 PM – Autograph Session

  • 7:30 PM – Cook Out 200 (ARCA Menards Series East)

Founded in 1987 in Greensboro, Cook Out has grown into one of the Southeast’s most popular fast-food chains, known for its chargrilled burgers and signature milkshakes. Organizers say the partnership is a natural fit, combining a beloved regional brand with grassroots motorsports.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to secure their spot for what’s expected to be a standout event at one of North Carolina’s most historic tracks.
