A domestic disturbance call in Davie County led to multiple arrests and the discovery of illegal drugs inside an Advance home.

According to Sheriff JD Hartman, deputies were dispatched on April 6, 2026, to a residence on Juney Beauchamp Road in Advance in reference to a physical disturbance.

When deputies arrived, they located a female victim suffering from a fractured arm, reportedly the result of a domestic violence assault. Authorities identified the suspect as 32-year-old Cody Ryan Bell of Salisbury. Bell was located away from the home, detained, and later admitted to using methamphetamine. Deputies noted he appeared to be under the influence at the time.

While on scene, deputies conducted a consensual search of the residence and observed drug paraphernalia throughout the home. Additional individuals were also located inside, including 57-year-old Cedric Herman Jones of Winston-Salem, who was wanted on an outstanding order for arrest in Davie County.

Authorities also identified 65-year-old Henry Watson Dulin Jr. of Advance and 60-year-old Rebecca Nettles Pyrtle of Mocksville inside the residence.

The Davie County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division was called in and obtained a search warrant for the home. During the search, investigators located methamphetamine, marijuana, and additional drug paraphernalia.

Four individuals were arrested in connection with the incident. Cedric Herman Jones was served with an outstanding order for arrest and given a $25,000 secured bond. Cody Ryan Bell faces charges including misdemeanor domestic violence assault, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia, and is being held without bond.

Henry Watson Dulin Jr. is charged with felony maintaining a drug dwelling and is also being held without bond. Rebecca Nettles Pyrtle is charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and received a $5,000 secured bond.

Court dates for the suspects are scheduled in Davie County District Court later this month and in May.
