Hiddenite Woman Arrested on Meth and Driving Charges

A Hiddenite woman is facing multiple charges after deputies say they found methamphetamine during an arrest over the weekend.

According to the Alexander County Sheriff's Office, 40-year-old Sarah Marie Solomon was taken into custody Sunday, February 15. She is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while license revoked.

Deputies arrested Solomon in Hiddenite and transported her to the Alexander County Detention Center, where she was placed under an $18,000 secured bond.

Her first court appearance was scheduled for Monday, February 16.
