Man Arrested on Meth Charges in Taylorsville

Alexander County deputies arrested 41-year-old Will Donovan Loudermelk of Fairgrounds Road in Taylorsville on Thursday, February 12, charging him with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Following his arrest, Loudermelk was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $20,000. However, as of February 13, he was not listed as an inmate. Authorities also noted that a 2025 charge for driving while license revoked is still pending.
Loudermelk is currently serving a 30-month suspended sentence stemming from a March 3, 2025 conviction for possession of a firearm by a felon.
