The Carolina Panthers saw their playoff run come to a heartbreaking end Saturday night, falling 34–31 in a tightly contested NFC Wild Card matchup at Bank of America Stadium.

After earning their first postseason appearance in several years, Carolina battled back-and-forth throughout the game and held a late fourth-quarter lead. Quarterback Bryce Young led multiple scoring drives, giving the Panthers a chance to secure a signature playoff victory in front of a home crowd.

That momentum was short-lived. The opposing offense mounted a late drive in the final minute, scoring the game-winning touchdown with under a minute remaining to seal the Panthers’ season-ending loss.

Despite the defeat, players and coaches pointed to the game as evidence of progress for a franchise that has spent recent seasons rebuilding. Carolina exits the postseason with optimism, shifting focus now to the offseason, free agency, and the upcoming NFL Draft.
