Detectives with the Mooresville Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating a runaway juvenile who has been missing since March 7.
Police say 15-year-old Geidy Garcia Miralles left her residence in Mooresville around 8 p.m. that evening and has not returned home. Her mother and stepfather reported her missing after she left and failed to come back.
Despite efforts by detectives to locate her, Miralles has not yet been found.
Authorities say she may be in the Iredell County or Rowan County area.
Miralles is described as approximately 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 3 inches tall with dark brown, waist-length hair and dark brown eyes. She also has braces.
She was last known to be wearing a white or light-colored hoodie with a design on it, light-colored jean shorts, and black and white shoes. Police say she was carrying a bookbag and a blue purse when she left home.
Anyone with information about Miralles’ whereabouts or who may see her is asked to contact the Mooresville Police Department at 704-664-3311 or Detective Whalen at 704-420-1036.
