Statesville Leisure Pool Opens for Summer Season This Weekend

STATESVILLE, N.C. — Summer officially begins this weekend in Statesville as the Statesville Leisure Pool opens for the 2026 season with a special Dive-In Movie Night.

The season kickoff event will take place Friday night and feature a showing of Lilo & Stitch. Admission for the Dive-In Movie is $10 per person, with tickets going on sale Thursday morning at 8 a.m.

The Statesville Leisure Pool will then officially open for regular summer operations on Saturday. City officials say the pool will offer two swim sessions each day throughout the season.

Residents can purchase Dive-In Movie tickets online and find additional information regarding pool hours, admission prices, and aquatic programs through the City of Statesville Parks and Recreation Department website.
