Statesville Man Arrested on Multiple Drug and Felony Charges

Statesville resident Arthur Lee Oxendale, 53, was taken into custody early Monday morning following an arrest by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.


According to jail records, Oxendale was booked into the Iredell County Detention Facility at approximately 12:40 a.m. on February 2, 2026. He remains in custody at the time of reporting.


Oxendale faces multiple charges, including possession with intent to sell or deliver a controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is also charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of burglary tools, safecracking, and failure to appear.


Several of the charges carry secured bonds, including a $10,000 surety bond for possession with intent to sell or deliver a controlled substance, a $25,000 surety bond for felony breaking and entering, and a $500 surety bond for failure to appear. Other charges currently list no bond or an undetermined bond amount.


The arrest was reported by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office. No additional details regarding the investigation or circumstances leading to the arrest have been released.
