Statesville Police Department Hosts Free Hot Meal Distribution

The Statesville Police Department, in partnership with local community groups, will provide free hot meals to residents Today, February 4, 2026. The event will take place at SPD South, located at 1392 Shelton Avenue, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.


Meals will be available via drive-thru or walk-up service, and will include hot meals as well as snack bags. The distribution is open to anyone in need and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.


Community partners helping to make the event possible include South River Baptist Church, Jean Foster and Community Friends, the Carroll Street Cuties, and numerous volunteers.


Donations of nonperishable food items and winter gear are still being accepted to support this and future events.
