Statesville Police Investigate Catalytic Converter Thefts

STATESVILLE — The Statesville Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two individuals in connection with a series of catalytic converter thefts at a local business.

Police say the thefts occurred on January 16 and January 24 at Randy Marion in Statesville.

Investigators released the following suspect descriptions:

• Suspect 1: Wearing a light-colored hoodie and dark pants

• Suspect 2: Wearing a dark hoodie and pants, a camouflage shirt, and carrying a camouflage backpack

  
  

Authorities believe the individuals may be connected to multiple thefts during the two incidents.
