Statesville police seek help identifying suspects in Harbor Freight larceny

The Statesville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two individuals in connection with a larceny reported this week in Statesville.

According to police, the incident occurred on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at a local Harbor Freight store. Investigators say the two suspects left the area in a silver Mercedes-Benz SUV displaying a 30-day tag.

Police released descriptions of the individuals in hopes someone may recognize them. The first suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, wearing a dark hoodie, ball cap, jeans, and black shoes. The second suspect is described as a white male of similar height, wearing a blue hoodie, dark pants, boots, and a dark-colored bucket hat.
