Taylorsville Man Arrested on Methamphetamine Charges

TAYLORSVILLE — A Taylorsville man is facing felony drug charges following his arrest Wednesday by local police.

According to authorities, 54-year-old Bobby Ray Duncan, Jr., of Matthew Drive in Taylorsville, was taken into custody February 25 by officers with the Taylorsville Police Department.

Duncan is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Following his arrest, Duncan was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond.

He is scheduled to appear in court Monday, March 2.
