Taylorsville Man Charged With Fentanyl Trafficking After Trespassing Call

ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. — A Taylorsville man is facing multiple drug charges following a trespassing call that led to a major arrest by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office.
According to officials, deputies responded on April 14, 2026, to a trespassing complaint in Alexander County. During the course of the investigation, authorities arrested and charged 32-year-old Trevor James Huffman, a white male from Taylorsville.
Huffman is charged with trafficking fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Following his arrest, Huffman was booked into the Alexander County Detention Center, where he is being held under a $100,000 secured bond.
He is scheduled to make his first appearance in Alexander County District Court on April 20, 2026.
Authorities have not released additional details, and the investigation remains ongoing.
