Taylorsville Woman Arrested

TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. — Jenny Lynn Murdock, 65, of Taylorsville, was arrested Wednesday, January 7, by Alexander County Sheriff’s officers and charged with felony child abduction.

According to authorities, Murdock was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Alexander County Detention Center, where she was held under a secured bond of $75,000.

Court records indicate that Murdock’s next scheduled appearance is January 12. No additional details regarding the circumstances of the alleged abduction have been released at this time.
