Taylorsville Woman Arrested on Multiple Felony Embezzlement Charges

A 47-year-old woman from Taylorsville was arrested Friday, January 30, by Alexander County Sheriff’s Office detectives on multiple felony charges related to alleged financial misconduct. Tanaye Jill Goehring was charged with five counts of felony embezzlement and larceny by employee following an investigation by law enforcement.
According to authorities, the charges stem from actions in which Goehring is alleged to have misappropriated funds while employed, though specific details regarding the incidents have not been released publicly. After her arrest, Goehring was taken into custody at the Alexander County Detention Facility. She is being held under a $60,000 secured bond pending further court proceedings.
