Tennessee Man Arrested in Iredell County on Drug, Fugitive Charges

STATESVILLE, N.C. — A Tennessee man is facing multiple charges after being taken into custody in Iredell County late Wednesday night.


According to jail records, Jason Cole Anderson, 43, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, was arrested on January 22, 2026, and booked into the Iredell County Detention Facility.


The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office charged Anderson with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, no operator license, and fugitive from justice.


Court records show Anderson received a $25,000 secured bond on the methamphetamine charge and a $75,000 secured bond on the fugitive from justice charge. Bond information for the remaining charges was not immediately available.


Additional details surrounding Anderson’s arrest and the fugitive charge were not released.


All charges are allegations. Anderson is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
