Two Arrested After Drug Trafficking Investigation in Mooresville

MOORESVILLE, NC – On February 21, 2026, officers with the Mooresville Police Department responded to a call for service regarding possible fraud at 109 Alcove Road in Mooresville.


Upon arrival, officers learned that the suspect, Adajeon Mehki Magazine-Izzard, 26, of Charlotte, had active warrants for his arrest. Officers located Magazine-Izzard and a female companion, Samantha Lee Manion, 27, of Los Angeles, California, inside a parked vehicle at a nearby business. Magazine-Izzard was taken into custody on the outstanding warrants.


During a search of the vehicle, officers discovered approximately 150 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 382 grams of marijuana, 25.6 grams of THC wax, 39 THC vape pens, 23.5 grams of MDMA, 28.2 grams of Adderall, and a 9mm handgun. Following the search, Manion was also placed under arrest.


Magazine-Izzard faces multiple charges, including three counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver (PWISD) Schedule VI; three counts of felony possession of Schedule VI; two counts of PWISD Schedule I and PWISD Schedule II; two counts of trafficking Schedule II by possession and transportation; felony maintaining a vehicle for the use or sale of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of a firearm by a felon; and felony carrying a concealed weapon.



Manion was charged with three counts of PWISD Schedule VI; three counts of felony possession of Schedule VI; two counts of PWISD Schedule I and PWISD Schedule II; two counts of trafficking Schedule II by possession and transportation; felony maintaining a vehicle for the use or sale of a controlled substance; and possession of drug paraphernalia.


Both suspects were transported to the Iredell County Detention Center. Magazine-Izzard was issued no bond, while Manion received a $350,000 secured bond. Both were scheduled to appear in court on February 23, 2026.
