Two Arrested in Major Drug Investigation in Southern Iredell County

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — A multi-agency investigation has led to the arrest of two people and the seizure of large quantities of illegal drugs and a firearm in southern Iredell County.
As first reported on the WAME Morning Show on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence located at 405 Teeter Road in Mooresville
following a lengthy narcotics investigation.
According to Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell, members of the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team, working alongside narcotics investigators and agencies from surrounding jurisdictions, identified the residence as a significant source of illegal drug distribution in the area.
During the search, investigators recovered more than one kilogram of cocaine, a large quantity of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, cash, and a firearm, according to the sheriff’s office.
Jacques Malic Pharr, 30, of Mooresville, was arrested and charged with felony Level 3 trafficking of cocaine by possession, felony Level 3 trafficking of fentanyl by possession, felony Level 1 trafficking of methamphetamine by possession, five counts of felony exposing a child to a controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling or place for the sale or use of a controlled substance, and felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Brittany Nicole McFarland, 32, also of Mooresville, was arrested and charged with felony Level 3 trafficking of cocaine by possession, felony Level 3 trafficking of fentanyl by possession, felony Level 1 trafficking of methamphetamine by possession, five counts of felony exposing a child to a controlled substance, and felony maintaining a dwelling or place for the sale or use of a controlled substance.

Sheriff Campbell described the investigation as a significant step in disrupting illegal drug activity in the area and said the case remains ongoing.
All charges are allegations. Pharr and McFarland are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
