The Iredell County Board of Elections has released the unofficial results from Tuesday’s primary election, highlighting several key local races.

In the Iredell County Board of Commissioners race, Scottie Brown, Brent Goddard, and Bert Connolly claimed the top three spots in the Republican primary. The trio will move forward as the party’s nominees in the November general election.

For Clerk of Superior Court, Jim Mixson earned the win and will run unopposed in November.

In the Iredell-Statesville Schools Board of Education contests, Brian Sloan, John Sherrill, and Boen Nutting each won their respective district primaries. All three will advance unopposed to November’s ballot.

And in the North Carolina House of Representatives District 95 race, Todd Carver secured the Republican nomination and will face the Democratic challenger this fall.

These results remain unofficial until certified by the Board of Elections.
