DAVIE COUNTY, NC — A breaking and entering call in Davie County led to the arrest of a woman on drug charges Monday.

Sheriff JD Hartman reported that on March 30, 2026, deputies with the Davie County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Sonora Drive in Advance in reference to a breaking and entering in progress.

Upon arrival, deputies located 34-year-old Sabrina Marie Link near an outbuilding on the property. According to authorities, Link admitted she had been staying in the outbuilding for several days without the property owner’s permission.

While clearing the structure, deputies observed drug paraphernalia in plain view and requested assistance from the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division. Detectives later obtained and executed a search warrant on the outbuilding, where they located methamphetamine along with additional drug paraphernalia.

Link was taken into custody and charged with felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was issued a $3,500 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Davie County District Court on April 16, 2026.
