Four Mooresville Police Department officers have been deployed to the nation’s capital to assist with security efforts during the America’s 250th anniversary celebration.

Corporal Allison Stahl, Detective Logan Carter, Detective Nevin Darden, and Officer Anthony Milano will represent Mooresville as part of a larger multi-agency law enforcement presence supporting public safety during the national event.

The officers will be operating under the direction and coordination of the U.S. Marshals Service while working alongside fellow law enforcement personnel from across the country.

Officials say the deployment reflects both the professionalism of the Mooresville Police Department and its continued commitment to supporting large-scale national security operations when called upon.

The officers are expected to remain in Washington, D.C. for the duration of the assigned detail during the celebration.
