Mooresville Police Arrest Final Suspect in Recent Homicide Case

Mooresville, NC — The Mooresville Police Department provided an update Wednesday on a homicide investigation reported last week.

The final suspect, 17-year-old Christofer Noe Flores of Statesville, was arrested following his release from the hospital. Flores is charged as an adult with murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Five other suspects face the same charges, while two additional individuals were charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

Mazeppa Park, which had been closed during the investigation, has now reopened to the public.

The Mooresville Police Department expressed gratitude to the Statesville Police Department and the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance with the investigation.
